Bird-Proof Gel a proven success

Bird Proof Gel is a great alternative to spikes when getting rid of birds on ledges, shelves and doorways.

A customer recently wrote a post on their blog about using our Bird Proof Gel to get rid of sparrows on and near their front door. Here’s an excerpt of the problem:

Last year, I had a family of sparrows nest just above my front door. Their mud nest left a mess on my patio, not to mention bird crap from both the adult sparrows and eventual babies, which was most irritating when packages were set directly on top of this mess.

After applying the gel, this customer saw the change immediately.

The day after I applied it, I noticed the sparrows visiting once again, but they would only fly near the corner they favored for nesting and then retreat. They stuck around for another day or two before leaving for another nesting site.

Works just as advertised. Sparrows hop all around it but don’t come in. Chickadees and finches feed as usual, but without the hassle of fighting with obnoxious sparrows. Rabbits soon clipped two of the hanging monofilament lines but fine wire replacements work just as well. Highly recommended.

Bird-X bird netting keeps pesky birds away

We bought this net to protect our strawberry plants from the birds. It is really working and stop birds from trying to eat the strawberry seeds. We had some hard wind blowing for a while and this net sticks to the plant. All we did was mapped it out over the strawberry plants and cut the length as needed. After that we cover the whole surface of the plants with the net and leave some left over on each sides then we spread the net evenly. We never find the net in open or curled up or rolled up even after heavy rain storm plus the wind. Overall, we really happy in using this net and already planning to use it for next year planting season.

Bird-X bird spikes are effective!

For something so simple, they are definitely effective. I used them on a metal arbor. I hung two upside-down tomato planters from the arbor and had a bench underneath, but found the birds using the arbor as a toilet - not real healthy for the tomato plants and not a pleasant place to sit and enjoy the garden! I attached the plastic “spikes” to the arbor and no more birds. The glue has held up well - somewhat messy in applying, but not a huge problem. Was able to cut the spikes to fit.

Bye Bye Doves, Hello Happiness!

Very happy with this product,a little pricey but after putting up with my neighborhood Morning Doves the price wasn’t lookin to bad. I moved into my current residence back in October and come spring I discovered I had some unexpected neighbors that were trying to move in by building a nest on top of my wall A/C unit. I tried everything I could think of and then I found this stuff. Bird-X has been working very well for the past few weeks..no more Doves and I love it. Easy to use, just follow the directions and this stuff will work for you as well.

Customer uses Bird-X Device to Get Rid of Bats & Ants

The Transonic Pro electronic pest repelling device has successfully gotten rid of both bats and ants for this satisfied customer. Read his email below:

Dear Person,

Last summer I purchased one of your “Transonic IXL” units to eliminate bats from our barn rafters. They seemed to be multiplying as their droppings were increasing every month. The bats are gone!!

I do not know were they are roosting now, but there are gone from the barn. Not one trace of droppings can be found since the loft floor was cleaned after installation of the IXL unit.

ANTS!

Prior to the rainy season that started last December, small (2 mm) black ants started appearing in our home. They seemed to be after water, but there were also getting into food. We would clear the pantry of all items, then spray with a popular brand spray that would kill them in short order. The next day they would reappear some where else. Both bathrooms where water was found seemed to attract them. These ants were in our home for a couple of months and it seemed to be no way to get rid of them.

I had remembered reading the literature that can with the IXL unit, stating that it would repel small crawling insects. I put the unit on our kitchen counter top as the ants had reappeared… Surprise!! One morning all of the ants were dead.

They were on the floor, counter top, etc. Hundreds of ants all Dead!!

Question: What happened to the ants? Did the unit have any thing to do with the death of all the ants?

The unit is still on the kitchen counter top, and still in operation. The ants have not returned.

Coyote Replica Works Great!

I’ve had good luck with this. I move it around frequently, and this keeps the geese from trusting it. Much easier to go out and move this around than constantly re spraying goose repellents.

Polycarbonate spikes are effective and affordable

Another excellent five-star Bird-X product review.

I needed to keep pigeons off of the tops of brick and wood columns on my front porch. The plastic bird spike strips were easy to handle and included plenty of glue which has held up fine so far (about 4 months). The ledges I had to protect are fairly narrow (about 2 and a half inches) so a single strip has been effective. I’m very please with the inconspicuous appearence, easy installation and total effectiveness of this product.

Coyote replica is worth every penny!

I was skeptical at first because we’ve tried everything under the sun. We staked the Coyote Decoy in a lidded plastic, rock-filled container. The coyote was set on our deck by the pool. I randomly moved it around. We haven’t had ONE duck in our YARD but less in the pool. Sorry to say . . . they have since moved to our neighbor’s pool. We’ve tried everything for the past four seasons with no luck. The irri-tape is flapping around the pool’s edge and alas - no bird dropping either! Superb product. Worth every penny! Recommending to our neighborhood pool store manager.
